Food & Nutrition at RUHS Medical Center

RUHS Medical Center is committed to providing quality food. A selective menu is available to all patients upon request. Dietitians are available to assist with menu selection and to ensure all special requests as well as religious and ethnic food preferences are honored.

Meal Delivery at the Medical Center

Breakfast: 6:15am - 9:30am
Lunch: 11:45am - 2pm
Dinner: 5:15pm - 7pm

​​Each patient care unit has between meal food/snack items available for patients who may have missed a meal due to medical tests or procedures.​

Patients requiring ongoing nutritional care are referred to a dietitian at the nearest clinic upon discharge from the hospital. A physician referral is required.

Cafeteria

Location: First floor​ ​

Hospitalized patients choosing to visit the cafeteria must have a special permit and must dress in a robe and slippers. The permit may be obtained from your attending nurse on the unit.
